Taylor brings over 15 years of vast experience in numerous aspects of business and finance. He was drawn to City Center Financial LLC’s commitment to the fiduciary responsibility, and the value the firm places on detailed, meaningful planning and research-based investing.

Taylor worked as an operations manager for a Fortune 500 company, before graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accounting degree.

After seeing how his own family was affected by the Great Recession of 2008, Taylor was inspired to enter the financial industry to find a role that would allow him to educate and help individuals avoid the pitfalls of retirement planning and investing. After a period of public service in the Internal Revenue Service’s Wages and Investment division, he went on to work as a Senior News Analyst for a financial media company, before becoming a licensed stockbroker and financial advisor with a major Wall Street firm. Ultimately, a desire to practice advising while avoiding conflicts of interest and adhering to the Fiduciary Rule led him to City Center Financial.

Taylor has earned Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA®) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designations through the College for Financial Planning, as well as the Series 66 license through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
